Good morning every one.

Well, this morning I woke up and no Anna. Apparently one of my window screens was loose on the bottom. Anna loved to sit in the window and she started to rub and claw at the screen this morning I went looking around the house and could not find her. Then I checked the screen. Yup, she blew out the bottom. I went out this morning looking for her and could not find her. Called and called. So, she is once again out and around.

Since she lived outside before and was semi feral, I have no doubt she will survive. But I will miss her. And I am hoping she comes back. I am going to save her stuff in case she does, but after maybe about 1 week, I will donate the stuff.

Honestly, even if she is away for longer than a week, I would not give up hope.

Are you looking for her or just waiting for her to come home?  This article and the comments after it may be helpful.

I do hope you find Anna, safe and sound.

Please do not give up after a week.  It may take her awhile, but I bet she will return.  I have had cats go missing for as long as 8 months and they have returned.  Here is another article with some great tips.  I would also suggest posting some fliers in your neighborhood and alerting your neighbors.  She may be very close by.

Anna has come around twice today, but ran both times. I have also taken in recently a neglected dog. I think that was what made Anna jump out the screen. She has been working at this screen for a while apparently. I am not going to put food out because last time I did that for her I had ten male cats, one skunk and a raccoon. I figure if she gets lonely and hungry she will want to come back in. So, I will not give up on her, I am going to let her figure it out for herself. I figure a few nights outside with out any of her favorite frisky food and cream and a warm spot to curl up just might be the things that brings her back in. I am keeping my fingers crossed. thank you for letting me know about the blogs!
