My family and I have always loved cats, and we are soon going to adopt a Siberian because they are hypoallergenic so my father won't have any allergy problems. I heard Siberians are very unique cats that are cared for differently than other breeds. I know a lot about cats because I volunteer at a shelter but I've never cared for a Siberian. Can anyone help and give me some tips about caring for them?

I don't think there is anything unique about them.  They have longer hair and an undercoat so they need more attention as far as grooming.

Siberians are not hypoallergenic though.  Most people are allergic to a protein found in saliva and skin oil.  Siberians tend to have a lower level  of that protein so some people can tolerate some Siberians.  Whether someone can tolerate a cat  or not is very individual to the cat and the person.  Someone may be able to tolerate one cat that is not a particular breed very well and not another kitty.

There are some things you can do to help with allergies if someone is not extremely allergic.  Wiping down kitty with a damp towel every few days cuts down on the amount of that protein on the fur.  Frequent vacuuming to keep  dander from building up in the home helps.   Keeping kitty out of the room that the allergy sufferer sleeps in so  it is allergen free helps.
