Gave my cat .5 mg ativan 10:00 a m.

Now 11:00 p m and she is still wobbling, crying to get up on the window, but knows she can't.

Definitely less afraid; came up to me a few times after her day long nap with her kitten (non-medicated)

Playful too. Playing with kitten who she has been ignoring a bit. And they were snuggled up together most of the day. But I am worried--- did I overdose her? She's still staggering a bit. When will it wear off?

This was not a good idea.  One should never medicate a cat with a medication, prescription or OTC without a vet's advice.  Many human medications are toxic to cats.  I've never heard of ativan being prescribed for a cat but even if it was you need to dose based on a vet's recommendation.  Please contact a vet before doing this again.
