My 10 weeks old kitten has been pooping mushy for the last 2 days, he always comes out of the litter box with his paws full of poo .. I have not noticed any change in his behavior or apetite but this mushy pooping is scaring me alot. I know that it is not good for kitten to have diarrhea and i don't want to wait till it gets to that point, so I would need some advice please, thank you ! :(

How long have you had him?  Has he been dewormed and if so, how long has it been?  What are you feeding him and have your switched brands recently?

Has he been dewormed? That's a common issue with kittens which commonly causes diarrhea and has an easy fix. If the poop is mushy I think it's safe to say it's diarrhea now. Because your kitten can become dehydrated quickly I wouldn't wait more than one more day to see if it gets solid. If your kitten hasn't been dewormed it's probably not going to get better.

Like the others said, have you dewormed yet?  Switched food?  My kitten had mushy poops for a few days when I got him.  He was doing great on the wet food but when I gave him the dry food I think I gave him too much too quickly without introducing properly, and it upset his belly.  I fed him the same canned food for a week and it went away, then very slowly incorporated the dry food.  Kittens can get upset bellies easily so if you changed any food recently at all, I would guess that would be why.  :)

It's very, very, very common for a follow-up deworming is needed due to the life cycle of the parasites.  I'd get him to the vet for a fecal test and to discuss the diarrhea with your vet.  It's also possible that what you're feeding is too rich for your baby's system.  I'm not familiar with the particular brand you're feeding, but you little one needs to be on a good kitten food.  If you can get it, I like to give kittens Royal Canin kitten dry and canned. As they get older, I transition them to a grain-free food.

If you can get some plain canned pureed pumpkin, add that to the wet food as that might help bulk up his stool, but I'd definitely get him in to the vet to see if parasites are still present and to make sure he's not dehydrated.

I just got back from the clinic with him and the vet think it could be worms so she gave me stuff to dewormed my baby. I will see how it goes and keep giving him the same food for now. Hopefully he will be fine :) thank you for your advice, i really apreciate! I will give you some update as soon as I see some changes! :)

Hooray!  Keep an eye on him and if you notice any more changes, call the vet.
