I made my account about a year ago but sort of forgot about it and just now started actually posting, so I'm going to count myself as new.

My name is Lyka and I am obsessed with cats. I got my first cat when I was 4 (a beautiful longhair tabby named Zena, now waiting for me on the Rainbow Bridge) and have had 4 cats since. I currently live with three girls that I love to death along with their two canine brothers, a Border Collie and an Australian Shepherd. I'm currently studying to be a dog trainer and hope to eventually work with service dogs. I don't know if it's sacrilegious to say that here (lol) but at least it means I know how to keep the peace between the furbabies.

My girls:

Isabel (AKA Isy, AKA Baby Girl), a 10-year-old tortoiseshell with more attitude than any cat I've ever met, the wild child who goes off for days at a time and comes back covered in dried blood to bring me nice dead presents. My baby girl who hates every human except my boyfriend and I (the reason I knew he was a good guy, for the record). Formerly a stray who's never lost her need to be outside and adventuring, but loves to come home and demand loves.

Maya (AKA Boo), the princess. Maya was rescued as a kitten from an abusive home along with her mother, littermates, and possibly their father and is one of only 2 of the 4 kittens to make it. Luckily she was young enough to get away without any severe psychological consequences but her vet believes because of the conditions her growth was very stunted--full-grown now at 3 years she only weighs about 5lbs, though thankfully she's very healthy. My cuddlebug who spends every night sleeping right on my chest. Also shows HHP in the local CFA show every year and last year ranked in top 10 every single round. She loves the attention.

The baby is Zoey (AKA Purrbug), who is now just about a year old and was rescued by the same group that saved Maya and the others. Her litter was dumped by the side of the road and it's still a mystery as to who did it or what happened to their mother but they all got homes for Christmas. As the kitten she's the crazy one but once she wears out all she wants to do is lay across your shoulders and purr her little head off.

Welcome back! :wavey:
Your girls are beautiful and I loved reading about them! Such nice pics, too. They all look like very happy and content kitties.
