Hi I'm new here

Hi all,

I'm new to the site and somewhat new to raising cats. I grew up with cats but my mom and dad did most of the raising. About three months ago my husband and I adopted two kittens from co-workers, though they are not litter mates they act like real sisters. So let me introduce you to Newt, a calico, and Navi, white with blue eyes and is deaf. When Navi is on the other side of the apartment and can't hear us, Newt will go over and get her attention and walk back to us.

Your kittens are gorgeous and I love their names! It is great that you have a pair of kitties and it's proving even more beneficial with a deaf cat - that's so cool, animals never cease to amaze me.

Aww, I wish my calico was that sweet! They are both beautiful kitties. I don't have any experience with a deaf cat. This site is very helpful though so you should have no problem finding advice in that area and more. You and your husband are kind people for adopting them.
