I'm new here , but I've just posted on the "Crossing the Bridge" forum , so technically this is my second post!

My wife and I live in the Ne of Scotland , with 2 amazing cats, (aren't they all) , Re-homes via CP Otis s a jet black miniature panther and Parker a Mackerel Stripped tabby , he's just about to turn 3 , Otis is 4, they're both big , but parker tipped the scales at 14ls of pure muscle...!

they're the latest in a line of cas that we've owned ever since we bought out house in 1991 , and accepted 4 adult cats as part of the deal. for some reason the fact that neither of us had pats growing up didn't seem to matter. Still they thrived, and despite losing one in the second year  and having a stray wander in and live with the other 3 . the 3 males all passed in 2002-3 the little girl lasted until 2007 when she must have been 18-19

In 2003 we had another stray come and live with us Poppet, and it was his passing in last year I was markin in my other post

To us our cats were our family , we've never had children but the cats have meant as much to us over the years , and we hope that Otis and Parker are going to be around for as long as other other cats

If ou think I've been rambling, that's nothing  .. I'm working on a book covering our years as accidental cat owners... 61,000 words so far!

Lots of love from bonnie Scotland
