Nym, the adorable little orphan cat we took in. He is a beauty, even if he has a temper. He use to cuddle up in a hat to sleep and we would carry him around in it. He toddled on his little cute kitten legs.
Now he is a handsome, large, heavy-boned cat and every much my baby as when he was just two weeks old.
Precious little Miracle. She had suffocated upon birth, her mother not knowing how to properly care for her. We breathed into her mouth and revived her. This picture was taken just moments after her first breath of air.
She survived and grew. She had her mother, who learned very fast. Here, however, she was spending a few minutes with our "momma-wanna-be" dog, Esther, along with her five siblings.
Miracle at a year of age, before we lost her to being hit by a car. she was so beautiful and precious. I love the blue-grey of her coat.
Pygmy, Sherbert and Tabby. Again, their mother was a first time mother and was bleeding badly. She was spayed after this litter but before Tabby was spayed she had a litter of her own (with Miracle in it). Pygmy nearly died at birth he was so cold, but he survived and was very handsome and sweet.
When they were old enough their mother decided she wanted to move back outside and took the kittens with her. She would have it no other way (she actually tried to hide them from us).
This is Pygmy, showing off his handsome self. His name was Pygmy but he was, for a while, the largest of our cats.
