Hey all, I've got a favor to ask of all of you.
I recently constructed a website for Cat Rescue, Inc., the group I got Zoey and just this past Christmas Day, we adopted a little boy-kitty named Bari into our home.
I wanted to do something more to help Cat Rescue than my job would normally allow, so after building www.asphaltadventures.com , I decided to put the things that I learned to use for Cat Rescue, Inc.
I used a few of the tricks I picked up building my first site, but I was looking for a way to make the website work FOR the group and not just be something that's sitting there doing little or nothing.
What I came up with was, an online shopping "mall" of sorts.
If you click on over to the "Shop & Save" Page, we have listed a great selection of merchants such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Wal-Mart, 1800PETMEDS, PetRX, PETsMART, Macy's, Lillian Vernon, Hickory Farms and many, many more. There are over thirty stores in all.
Every time you click through to a retailer from our site and make a purchase, part of your purchase will benifit Cat Rescue, Inc as we continue our never-ending work, bailing cats out of shelters and fostering them in safe loving homes untill we can place them.
You can make an online donation if you wish, I just set that up last night, but I know that many of you are giving more than your share so I wouldn't feel bad if you couldn't.
All I'm asking anyone who shops online to do is bookmark our "Shop & Save" page and every time you want to shop online, click through our site to the merchants you want and a portion of the money you would have spent will benifit a cause that I think you'll find worthy.
Many of our merchants are offering free shipping for purchases over a certain amount, so it's not like it would cost you any more. One of the merchants, PetRX I think it is, offers an additional discount for shopping through our affiliate site.
