my kitten which is about 7 months old had an abcess under her neck and it busted leaving a large wound, I have cleaned it and  I am using a antimicrobial wound spray for cats, I have tried to keep this covered because she wants to scratch it all time and it will start bleeding it seems that only when I use this med. that she gets any relief, what else can I do to get this open wound healed, I am a senior and she was a feral cat I found almost dead, brought her home and now she is a very good cat but sometimes still has that wild streak about her especially when I try to Doc. her, I cant afford a vet but she has been fixed and vac. who can send me some free antibiotics to give her orally, I live in Louisiana  I also have a male cat I have had for 7 yrs and he is awesome with her he will lick her head like he knows she is sick, don't know what caused this female to bitten but I think it could have been a rat, from the house next door they moved out and the place was very nasty, my cats have a fenced in place where they go in and out but she got out one day and we did not know it for a little while in 2 or 3 days this abscess came under her neck and busted leaving the large wound, if anyone needs address please let me know if u have meds u don't need I can use on this young kitten. thanks so much for any answers

Welcome to The Cat Site.

We are not Veterinarians, so we cannot provide any prescription medicines for your kitty.

What you describe is a serious condition that is likely to worsen without proper treatment.  Please take her to a Veterinarian to have her evaluated and properly treated.

Hi and welcome to the forum, Jo Jo Peevy !

Sometimes people are able to get help for things like this from local animal rescue groups. In some places, these groups have arrangements for Veterinary care - some even have hospitals.

If you want to post your approximate location (perhaps, give the name of a nearby large town/city) we may be able to find a place like this for you.

Welcome to TCS.  I wish you were joining under happier circumstances!  Below is an article with some ideas for when you can't afford vet care:
[article="29706"]When You Cant Afford A Veterinarian  [/article]
The US Human Society also has a list of national and statewide resources that will help with vet care:

Another place to turn for help is Modest Needs.  They will not only help with vet care but other issues as well.

 And finally I believe it is possible to purchase amoxycillin for fish without a prescription.  Here is a link from amazon.  It is kind of pricy but perhaps you could get a smaller supply at a local fish store.
