Hi guys .

So its been 2 weeks since I adopted Roxy and she is amazing. Always jumping about and coming for hugs and snuggles . but last week we noticed that she seems to be grooming alot and have felt a scab or two around where her collar used to be .

We are taking her to the vets in two days and don't think it's fleas . we see white specklesn her hair but looks like little bits of skin .

She has free reign of the house now . just worried and do you think a comfort spray in the carrier before taking her to the vets is a good idea . we are literally 100 metres from the vets so will be walking xxx

I find spraying the carrier out the night before works best.

It really all depends on the cat and what they are used to, how old they are, etc.

If a cat is used to the carrier, then it's no big deal to them.  If they are small kittens, then it's usually no big deal.  If they are adults and not used to being confined in small spaces, sometimes it's a BIG deal
.  Since you don't have time to train her to not be afraid (if she is), then certainly a calming apray is a good idea.

We leave a carruer out and open at all times so our furkids can go in and out whenever they want to sleep, etc.  That way they don't fear it.  'Course, when we move it towards the front door, they still scatter

Good luck at you Vet appointment.  How nice to have a Vet so close
