Please help me find her! Mary Jane where are you...

HELP. Please please help. I'm looking for a tuxedo 1yr old cat who may have been brought in to one of many shelters over this past holiday weekend. Her name is MJ (Mary Jane) and she is spayed, not declawed, and her adopted Mom lives or lived in Gwinnett county. She is 1 of 4 kittens that I helped raise since the day she was born. I had trusted her adopted mom was going to care and love her forever but I just within the past 24 hrs learned she was giving her up. I had told her if she EVER come to a point in her life she couldn't keep her (circumstances change) that I WOULD take her back. She promised she would let me know, but unfortunately that did not happen. She broke her promise...to me and to MJ. Her adopted mom lives in peachtree corners/norcross ga area. Please spread the word if you see her....PLEASE. Here are a few pictures of her.

I don't know what is wrong with some people. Do you have this woman's name? Or any way to reach her? I'm so sorry to hear about this.

I know her name and reached out to her, but she won't give me much info. I just don't know why she wouldn't have called me first before even considering a shelter. It's heartbreaking and unimaginable that someone would rather put a pet they claim to love in a shelter than to someone they know who raised her since birth and loves cats. She was my favorite and I feel horrible that a made a bad judgement call giving her to someone so heartless

I would call her back and INSIST she tell me where exactly the cat is, it is horrible she won't give you that info. In the meantime call the nearby shelters ans ask if a tuxedo has been surrendered. If at all possible personally visit the ones close to that monsters house, time is of the essence here. I'll pray for her safe return. 

What about calling all the shelters and asking if anyone by that name had surrendered a tuxedo cat, making it clear you want to adopt her? I don't understand why this person won't tell you the name of the shelter. This is just awful - I'm so sorry for what you're going through. Please keep us updated. Fingers crossed that you soon have MJ home safe and sound again.

I've called, posted, sent private msgs with many shelters, rescues, and the local aspca/humane society. A few have responded with helpful info
The only thing the monster would tell me is that she is with someone she knows, but my intuition tells me that's not true. She was contacting shelters and one I heard shamed her for wanting to abandon/surrender her
