It's her fifth day after spaying, and she really hates her cone. She has internal sutures, and the doctor said not to let her lick her incision for at least 1-2 weeks. Last night, she took off her cone for the second time. I woke up to see the cone on the floor, and I immediately panicked. Nothing bad has happened to her incision though. Her incision is just developing scar/scab tissue. Today, she took it off for the third time. Is it really worth it to keep her cone on? She really hates it because it itches, and she loves to groom herself. Or should I just keep it on her for her own good?

Leave it off.  I've never had to put a cone on a kitty after a spay.

I took it off for right now. I'm gonna keep an eye on her to see if she nibbled or licks too much at her incision, but I don't think she will. She seems a lot more happy now without it.
