Pregnant cat, HELP!!

We have  a pregnant cat, first pregnancy. At 10:20am this morning we saw the sac coming out. Hour later the sac retreated back and the cat completely stopped the birthing process. Can't get her to the vet today. Please help.

Is there an ER vet near by/  Or can you call your vet and speak to them?

Is she in distress?  Depending on how long the kitten was in the birth canal it may be still born.

Exactly, if the baby is in the canal for too long it will likely be stillborn unfortunately.

This happens, and nothing we can really do about it unless it were actually stuck then would need emerg. surgery, 

Unless she is in distress, leave her be, she will deliver when ready.
