I rarely, if ever, do product reviews or that sort of thing, but my new little blender has been making me really happy!

My old roommate had a Bullet blender and I used it a lot. When I moved out, I realized I had no way to make my smoothies and milkshakes, so I went blender-hunting. Come to find out, the Bullets are about $100 (and that's the low-end model) and I was only prepared to spend about $50-60. We looked in several different stores, and there were quite a few similar models from different companies. I put off buying one until I could look at some product reviews. Of course, I then totally forgot about it. That is until every time I wanted a smoothie. :doh3:

Finally, I just grabbed a cheap, decent looking one off the shelf at Walmart when we were grocery shopping the other day. And I made an unexpectedly good choice! Especially since it was under $20. I love this thing. Here's some pics:

Admittedly, it's not the nicest, most high-quality blender in the world, but, so far, it's working very well for what I need it to do. And I didn't even realize it could grind coffee beans! That's what is in the little clear cup in front of the knife block. It came with four full-sized cups (all plastic), the little cup, two blade bases, and assorted lids. There is a lid with holes for parmesan, too.

The extra cups are nice when I'm making smoothies for me and my husband, because I can prep two different drinks simultaneously. He doesn't like bananas, the weirdo. After blending the first drink, you just rinse the blade part and pop it onto the next cup. It has some attachable lip rings, so you can drink right out of the cup.

I don't think it can do ice, though. I looked in the instruction book and ice is not mentioned anywhere, so it's probably a bad idea to try. So, for margaritas, I'll still have to drag out our ancient ice crusher. The other thing is there are a lot of pieces, what with all the cups and lids. It would be nice if it came with some sort of rack or storage container. I'm keeping all the extras in the box in the pantry.

It's a great little machine for smoothie and milkshake making! Now, if I could make myself use less ice cream in the smoothies, they might actually be healthy! :lol3:

Nice buy!  :)

Last year I bought a Ninja at Kohl's. After discount it was $129.  I thought I had gotten a really good deal.  Turns out that it was the same price in Canada (where I live). And our dollar was at par value, so it was the exact same price. I could have just bought it at home!  LOL

I haven't tried the single serve cups yet.  If you are ever in the market for a bigger blender, I do recommend this one. It won't last as long as a Vitamix because the gears are plastic where the Vitamix are steel. But for the price I paid I feel that I'm getting my money's worth so far.

I found a new use for it today! To purée chunky canned food down to a consistency my cats will eat. It looked and smelled pretty gross and I kept thinking of the Bass-o-matic, lol! You'd think formerly strays wouldn't be so dang picky.
