When a cat "drops" and looks smaller it becomes more difficult to detect kitten movement. This is due to the kittens moving towards the birth canal in preparation for birthing.

Hope all is well with your cat.

Vet said 5-6 babies mostly breach position he argued my dates with me but I'm positive I have them right . He said no ones in the canal yet lots of movement and milk . Few more days and we'd have to take further action

Yes he said to wait a few days as he thinks she's going to have them but if not we'll have to do something

That's pretty much what we've been saying too :).

Hopefully they'll turn head first.

X-ray looks a bit crowded in there. I do hope she does well with this litter.  I noticed your post about regarding her being spayed, I will say, depending on how this delivery goes, you might decide to keep one of her daughters if she has one and use her for breeding instead of her mother. Please keep us posted on the little ones.

It's greenish and is around the vulva and some down her leg hair

I agree. It may be time to retire your queen and move forward with a new one. Many breeders retire their queens by age four.

But for now, we hope this litter turns out well.

I just saw your post. That's probably the mucus plug. She is definitely moving towards labor.

I have to agree, after this litter I would definitely retire this little girl.

She's about had it I think with having kittens.

Looks like she is finally ready :)

I know this is her fourth litter.  You seem inexperienced (no offense) and I wondered if you just got her.

I see, have you bred her to different lines or to the same male every time?
