hello I have been breeding Himalayans and Persian cats for only two years now . So I am fairly new to it . I really need some advice right now I have contacted 4 vet clinics .

My female Himalayan was bred June 28-29 (only those days then separated) so she is 69-71 days along now . Her milk came in and now has dried up . The vets are telling me she will give birth and if not to go get an X-ray on Tuesday. One vet also said her eggs may have been released late . Has any one had this happen #1 I'm worried she won't deliver #2 her milk dried up!!! She has had three litters and is four years old . Babies are extremely active thank god

I have no idea.  Are you sure the milk dried up?

You can get the supplies to supplement the kittens now before she gives birth, just in case.

If the babies are very active she is probably around 68 days along. I imagine her milk will come in once she delivers her litter. That is when most cats' milk comes in.

Try to relax for now. Getting KMR and 1-2 mL syringes and kitten bottles now is a good idea just in case you need them, even to supplement a runt.

When was her last litter born?

Are you seeing any early signs of labor such as vaginal discharge, dilation, nesting, or your cat being uncomfortable?

Can you post a picture of your cat for us?

Do you mind if I post a picture of her lady area ? I do believe she might be dilating but she's not acting different I will post a picture of her as well

That would be fine.

How has she acted pre-delivery with her other 3 litters?

She looks to me like she is going to be in labor very soon actually.

Don't worry about her milk, it's only slowing/stopping due to lack of stimulation from nursing babies, it will return.

Whatever reason is why she has a bit of diarrhea means the babies will have it also.

Be sure she is flea treated before giving birth.

They come when they are ready, and the only reason to worry is when she is showing signs of distress.

Not to worry, she's fine. As the vet mentioned, she can have delayed fertilization of the eggs by even several days which will cause you to be thrown off her dates.

She looks and acts fine, just looks like she will be busy pretty soon!
