We all love animals so why not go on a real, live African Safari for FREE?  Yes, that's right, I said FREE!

The LIVE safari drives run twice per day. During the safari an expert guide drives around the reserve looking for wild animals. Another person sits in back of the vehicle and controls the camera you're watching.

It's in real time so it's interactive; just as if you were sitting in the vehicle with the Ranger.  You can ask questions via Twitter at #safarilive or via email at [email protected] and they will be answered as you traverse the African bush looking for animals.

Here is a short list of animals that you could see: Leopards, Lions, Cape and Water Buffalo, Elephants, Hippopotamus, Antelope, Giraffes, Zebra, Hyenas, Wild Dogs, Birds and more.  You won't see Rhino though because they protect their location from poachers.

Watch live 2 x/day, 7 days/wk:

       08:30 am - 11:30 am  CST/CDT
       11:00 pm - 02:00 am  CST/CDT

 - If you use Comcast, you can view the YouTube link on your TV.

 - Allows you to rewind the last 4 hours, so it's nice if you step away for a bit because you can come back and rewind to see what you missed. Even if you arrive 1 hour after the drive ends, you can still catch the beginning of the drive.

There are a few people who regularly record the drives and upload them to YouTube, which is great for those who can't watch the drives LIVE for whatever reason.  It's also a good way to see what these safari drives are all about.

WARNING::

Because these are live, they are not edited or censored. This is the African wild and you will sometimes see some not so pleasant things.  They don't interfere with nature or the animals unless the damage/injury was caused by humans. So you will sometimes see injured or sickly animals. You will see predators like lions or leopards kill and/or eating.  But you will also see beautiful elephants and very playful baby elephants which makes up for all of the rest IMHO!  You haven't lived until you have seen baby elephants playing and acting goofy!

Thanks for posting these! I just spent some time watching a zebra graze. The scenery and skies are spectacular, too. [emoji]127748[/emoji]
