Hello everyone!
Ella was just spayed two days ago, and I've noticed she's been quite colder than usual. Of course, she's not as active and a little tired. But when she is active, after her surgery, she acts like her normal self. Her appetite and behavior are completely normal. I've noticed her ears aren't as warm as they usually are, and I've been quite worried. I know anesthesia lowers body temperature, but after two days? I left a heating pad out for her, and her body temperature's gotten up a bit. Even without one, it's slowly getting better, since she's getting more food and more vitamins. Is this something to be extremely concerned about though? Should I stick to keeping the heating pad? Or will that make her too warm?
