Bo is missing for 7 months and I can't sleep.

Bo was feral and was picked up by a shelter.  I adopted him and made the two hour drive home with him sitting freely in the passenger seat.  He's put his little paw over on my hand as I went to shift gears.  It was instant love for this little guy. 

He loved to give kisses and wanted to be held most of the day.  For 2 and 1/2 years he was my sidekick. 

He was never happy if he had to be kept inside.  The dogs used the doggie door and so did Bo.  He would go sit on the fireplace outside for hours on end and then come inside to eat and get in bed.  He liked to hold my hand as we slept.

On night he just went over the fence.  I have him on the security camera going over the fence and not coming back.  I started my hunt immediately the following morning.  Put out almost 300 flyers with his picture.  Nothing.  I've had a few calls but it always ends up not being him.

I go to the shelter daily and cry my heart out when he's not there.  While I blame myself for allowing him to go outside, it's what made him happy.

Is there hope? I need him home.  Since he was feral I feel he's street smart at least.  We do have coyotes around from time to time but they're normally after the little rabbits and I see a lot of rabbits.  I just can't let it go.  I need him home. 

I am so sorry for your loss of Bo.  I have had 2 feral cats go missing.  One was gone for 5 months and the second time he left (after TNR) he never returned.  My other feral cat was missing for exactly 8 months.  He returned.  I was positive he was gone forever.  I had bought a memorial stone for him and went out to my garden to place it.  He returned that night. 

Have you ever thought of using an Animal communicator?  Sometimes they are helpful in determining if the cat is still alive.

I also meant to ask if he is neutered?
