Hi I have a gorgeous tabby DSH who is 12 weeks old. She had a bit of diarrhoea a couple of weeks ago and vet recommendedworming treatment plus recommended we feed her less as her tummy is so small. She recommended about 80gram wet food a day (she weighed 700 grams then) over 4 feeds and put her on Royal canin sensitivity pouches as prescribed by the vet. Since then she has been very vocal when we prepare her food and when between feeds keeps running to the kitchen and back to her feeding area. Also keeps wanting more after she gobbles her food up. She used to eat at a normal pace but now eats really fast.
Not sure if she is genuinely hungry or because of change in diet and amount we are giving her she's not used to it. Vet nurse seems to think she will now always be obsessed with food. Any thoughts or comments welcome. Thank you[emoji]9786[/emoji]

Your kitten is probably just hungry
Kittens should ideally be fed as much as they want. They need all that food for their rapidly growing bodies so it's not possible for them to overeat or get too fat. Small frequent meals is best if you can do that. The 4 meals a day is good but you may want to increase the amount of food each time, maybe closer to 100 grams or so. When your kitten gets around 6 months old or so she'll start to want less food and you can adjust the fodo portions and amount of meals accordingly.

Hi thank you I will try increasing how much I give her and see if that helps.
