There's one that seems to keep falling on it's side and just laying there. I tried to feed it, it ate some but not very much. What can I do?
I think perhaps it is already too late... too long without a proper feed, unfortunately these kittens will most likely die if they really are that weak.
These kittens are starving to death, literally.
I don't understand why you are not hearing that they MUST be fed kmr and get used to using a bottle until they can be weaned.
There is no reason for them to die simply because you are holding out in hopes that mom will care enough for them, she is not and has proven this for some time, long enough for them to get in this state and dying.
Plain and simple, you will lose them all eventually unless you take control and get them in to a box inside and start feeding them every 3-4 hours so they will get strong and grow, and most of all, live.
I continued trying to feed them KMR every three to four hours, but they kept getting progressively worse and kept eating less and less, so I gently tried to force them to eat, but it didn't work. They wouldn't drink the KMR out of the bottle at all, so I had to syringe feed them some of them looked like they had dried blood just around their noses. So I was thinking maybe it was some disease/infection, or or genetic thing on top of everything else. Anyway I kept them all warm and well fed with KMR until they all passed. You really need to be feeding them KMR since mom is not feeding them. I'm sorry they are doing poorly. This is a very sad situation.
