Could batman be a black egyptian mau?

Hey everyone I was hoping I could have some help identifying what breed my bb is. I got him off Craigslist, and the person didn't know. Someone told me that he looks like a black egyptian mau. I was doing some research on it and looked at pics on Google and I kind of think he is too. Please help me. I'm including pics of him when he was 5 weeks old, and now he's 11 weeks old.

Then from what I see yeah he is a black Egyptian mau

What a breed is, isnt what somewhat look alike they are, but its the ancestry.  As proven by papers or at least, solid proofs.  Or at least, weakish prooofs...

Its a little like nobility.  Or even - ancestry with humans... 

But thinking about what established breed our  domestic is a look alike, is a nice pastime for us forumites here...

As hinted,  your boy is surely a domestic shorthair.   The very biggest majority of all cats are what we call for domestic, ie they dont belong to any especial breed  nor fresh mix thereof.

But by exaclty the same reasone, among them are very many good alook alikes....
