Recently noticed our healthy 13 year old cat limping. Checked her over and found a large lump at upper front right hip. She won't let me try to straighten out her upper leg or move it away from her body at all. Could it be dislocated? Quite big to have not noticed it before..... Limp new. Very active.

This is something you should probably have your Vet take a look at.   I would think (just my opinion) that if her hip were dislocated, she would not be putting ANY weight at all on it, but i certainly don't know for sure.

Whtever it is, if it's preventing her from straightening her leg, this is not a good situation, so I would think you'd want to get it looked at.
