Specific size/weight at certain ages??

Is there any chart to roughly go off of to know about how much a kitten should weigh at 4wks, 8wks, etc? Sadly the two babies I took in yesterday lost their battle this morning, but I do have one other orphaned kitten here (from a different home). I'm guessing she is around 5wks old but don't know for sure. She came to me from a farmer who found her in the gutter of his barn, all full of cow poop. We've had her for about a week and a half now. When we got her she was just under 10oz, and before breakfast this morning she weighed in at 11.6oz. Should she be gaining quicker then that? I have been making her the mush with KMR and AvoDerm soft food, and she eats that well, but she still needs the syringes of KMR straight too, right? She seems healthy, besides small, she loves to run and play, and follows you around the house [emoji]128536[/emoji] Would you recommend a heat source for her still, too? I can post a pic of her, she is a little gray and white ball of fluff [emoji]128525[/emoji]

Kittens should weigh about one pound at four weeks, 2 pounds at eight weeks, and so forth, gaining about one pound for every month until they are about six months old. After that, it depends on their breed and genetics as to how much bigger they grow. But the first six months are critical.

She is underweight, so I would offer her KMR in a kitten bottle several times a day. She should quickly adapt to the bottle at her age, and in fact, enjoy it, as most kittens nurse for a good 8-12 weeks from mom.

She no longer needs a heat source at her age, but if she is sleeping alone she would surely enjoy it.

Is she using a litter pan?

Quick update. Just weighed Smokey and she is up to 14.2 ounces. Yay!!!

She is so cute and fluffy! That's great news regarding her weight gain, she'll catch up in no time! Sorry about the other two babies, thank you for trying to save them.
