Hello everyone.  I'm Gen from Kansas City.  We had been toying with the idea of adding a cat to our family for a while when I happened to meet a cat foster in a store one day.  She was persuasive and we became the foster for a five week old kitten she had recently gotten.  We will adopt him when he is technically old enough.  He has been home a week and we are all in love.

The previous foster called a couple of days ago and had a black kitten and wanted to know if I was interested.  I am toying with the idea just for the play factor for the two of them.  Growing up I had two cats that came into our home within weeks of each other and they were great companions.  Not sure what to do.  Any ideas, thoughts, and advice would be welcome.

FYI- the whole family includes me, DH, DD 17, DS 13 and Pepper the 10 year old diabetic dog

Ollie is adorable! :wow:

It will be interesting to see what his eye color develops into... another week or two and we might know for sure! Maybe they'll stay blue

Welcome to TCS! [emoji]128512[/emoji]

Ollie is SO cute! What a sweet little tummy! Getting him a playmate is a great idea as most cats do enjoy the company. I have usually had at least two and never regretted it. If you're away from home for work, it is especially nice for them to have each other to avoid boredom.

Hope to see lots more photos!
