Riley, my 2.5 year old exotic shorthair has had a small/medum bald spot on each of his rear paws (near the ankle of a human). They increase/decrease in size over time but never go away. Is this aggressive litter box activity? I do not see any redness nor does he feel pain when i touch it. No other bald spots.  I do have a picture!

I've never seen anything quite like that so am bumping in hopes someone else has.

One of my cats has something similar on both of his "heels" I call them.  I think it's just the way he lays down or something.  He just rubs the fur off from a certain activity.  He's 6 years old and has had them as long as I can remember.

This is so weird. My two cats have the same bald spot. The older one has had it since I can remember, it started on both paws at the same time. I used some allergy cream and it got better, but never 100%. Now I noticed the younger one started having the same thing, but only in one paw. I noticed she bites it once in a while.

100% has to do with how they sit or play. Magnus has it too and we asked the vet about it. If the skin under becomes red or flaky then it will be cause for concern.

Just another vote for normal. One out of my three has the same little wear spots and she is the one who is most prim and proper about sitting.
