2 day old kittens question

My cat had 2 kittens 2 days ago. I didn't weigh them at birth but I did weigh them last night. One weighted 97g and the other 100g. I weighed them tonight and they weigh the same. Is this normal, they seem to be nursing fine and aren't excessively crying. Thanks for the help.

The first couple of days the mother produces colostrum and the kittens may not gain any weight.  They should start gaining 6 - 10 grams minimum a day.  Let us know how they are doing.  We can give instructions if they need supplementing.

How is it going?   Does they seem to gain now?

If not, get home a needleless syringe of 1 or 1,5ml,  goat milk (preferably raw),  or some good KMR  (not Hartz),  kmr in powder tends to be better than ready made liquid.

Continue to take weigh every 12 hours till they are stabilized on good gaining up.
