Hi Everyone

So recently I have noticed a steadily declining supply of forks and spoons. They are not getting thrown away or broken, but they are disappearing. I did purchase replacements, but I can't help but think I have a silverware fairy in my midst :(

Anyone else have items that routinely disappear and you can't keep track of??

Another one for me is Scissors- Despite having 4-5 pairs, I can not find even 1 when I need it. Then when I don't need them... I find 5- 10.........

Forks. For years my forks have gone missing. When I moved, I expected to find them all but they had apparently been transported to another universe.

Are the cats taking the silverware?
I know of a cat who loves to carry around forks and play with them.

My parents always have disappearing silverware, too. The drawer would be mostly empty and there's nothing in the sink or dish rack or taken elsewhere in the house for eating a snack with. Then out of the blue the drawer would suddenly get jammed packed with silverware.

The only thinng I have go MIA is Leroy when it's time to brush his teeth. He has a love-hate relationship with toothbrushing. Sometimes he's ready for his teeth to be brushed, other times he runs off

I have had many things to disappear, cats are often to blame, when I still used mobile phone, they did carry that around.

Anything long shiny thing that makes nice sound disappears, they like from such.

Toy mice, I have brought hundreds to them and again none is to be found, I don't know where they hide all that lot.

Socks.  I remember when the kids were little, I had 3 close together, I would put the odd socks in one of the old brown grocery sacks.  I would take it out every  so often dump it out and try to make pairs.  I would usually find a few pairs but I always had all of these half pairs in that grocery bag.

I've always figured socks were a disposable item. Less frustrating that way. For me, it's my reading glasses. There must be more than a dozen in this house and I can only find the ugliest most decrepit.
