Yesterday I put a drug in my cats wet food. To say it wasn't a good reaction is an understatement.  It actually traumatized my cat.  It was a bitter pill. Now he won't eat... at all. I give him food and he turns his nose up and refuses it.  I think he is actually traumatized.  Otherwise he seems happy and healthy. He is playing with a toy right now.   Ugh.  Should I just let him come to it when he wants to?

I wouldn't just wait until he decides to eat.  Unfortunately kitties won't always just eat when they are hungry enough and can develop a serious liver issue from not eating.  I would try changing everything, different food, different bowl, even hand feeding.  Hopefully that will be all it takes to get him eating again.

Thanks. I put it in the microwave and heated slightly. That seemed to make it seem more palatable. He ate it. Phew.
