They are both bicolour (in this case black and white) domestic short hairs (DSH), i.e. random-bred or no particular breed. Most cat "breeds" are less than 100 years old and were created from random bred cats, according to this interesting UC Davis site: https://www.vgl.ucdavis.edu/services/cat/ancestry/ . A better question to ask would thus be what ancestry your cats have. (I can't tell you though, as I don't have any guesses based on the photos!)

That's a very cute little black patch on your kitten's left front foot! Does s/he have a name?

Glad to hear he's got a home lined up! Make sure he gets vaccinated and microchipped (if he isn't already). This can be done starting around 8-9 weeks. I don't know where you are located but it's often possible to find low-cost vaccination and microchipping services. I hope he has a long happy life, and the mama cat too!

My friend wants to know if this kitten would be hypoallergenic?

It's highly unlikely to be hypoallergenic. Cat allergens are due to protein in their saliva (Fel d 1) -- it has nothing really to do with shedding hair (as is commonly believed). I've heard there are some breeds with supposed lower levels of Fel d 1, but in general most cats produce enough to trigger a reaction in someone who is allergic. Allergies don't always persist though. I used to be mildly allergic and am no longer allergic at all after living with cats for a while.
However, not everyone's allergies go away, so this is something to consider in getting a cat.

I used to be mildly allergic too and it has gone away too for the most part. Henry affects me more than the girls do.

I think the whole hypoallergenic thing is a marketing ploy to drive up prices and sell more cats. If I remember correctly, the first time I saw a special on Animal Planet on Savannahs, they were touted to be hypoallergenic which justified part of the price. I just don't think that truly hypoallergenic cats or dogs for that matter exist.
