Hi there,
I have a small year-ish old cat, Kiki. We have a litter box in our bathroom, and she uses it a lot. Like, sometimes 2-4 times an hour, just to pee only a tiny bit (or maybe sometimes nothing at all, I can't tell). She follows us in there a lot when we go in there because she follows us all over the house, and uses it then, and that's when I first noticed it, but she also uses it other times during the day. I decided to take her to the vet yesterday, even though she's acting completely normal otherwise. The vet felt her bladder, said it's empty and said she's been emptying it, and checked her temp and she has no fever. Said to keep an eye on her.
My question is... if she doesn't have a bladder infection/UTI, could this be something behavioral? Honestly, this could be going on longer than I've realized. I was working a lot over the summer. School's back in session though, so I'm home more now. Also, I mean, if the vet saw the need for further testing, he would go for it right? I've only been downstairs for about 30 minutes and she's been in the litter box like, 3 times.
Anyway, thanks for your help guys. I'm a worried cat mama.
