Molly, my 3 year old American Short Hair has developed ever thickening upper eyelids over the past year. She has always had issues with her eyes, mild infections which would last a day or so, and now a perpetual reddish/rust colored discharge around the eyes of varying severity. She has been to the vet several times for annual checks, and more recently, dental surgery, and blood work comes back OK with the exception of her white blood cell count is very very low. Vet really had nothing to say about her eyes, other than she may be more susceptible to infections.
Anyway, i'm just curious as to any thoughts on what could possibly be the root cause of the perpetually thick eyelids, and most always squint.
Cheers,
Pete
