Tuesday Daily Thread!

Good morning everyone! Hope everyone is doing well. Zack and I picked up his friend from the airport last night about 10pm. He was suppose to get in at 7, but the flight was delayed because of the weather. He flew in from Dayton, Ohio. (I think that's right?!) We didn't get to bed until 2am...and now I am dragging. Thank God I had my coffee this morning. I really don't drink it, but only when I need it!

We are suppose to get to Ninfas (mexican restaurant) tonight for dinner! I still have to be good since I have 6 more days on Phase 1. Well, I am gonna get to work now! Have a great day everyone!

I am psyched this AM, I got a call for a second interview at one of the jobs I interviewed for xmas week! I go tomorrow at 1 PM, wish me luck!

Tybalt got to CA safe and sound. It's too quiet here without him. The cats miss him, so to compensate, about a dozen of them piled up on me last night!

Just having coffee right now. I got woke up this morning by the guy from the power company coming by to cut of my electricity! I paid the bill, but apparently it had not been posted or something and got on his list. I couldn't find the reciept for the money order, and he was acting like "yeah, right, the old dropped in the night deposit excuse." I finally called them and asked them to check, and it had indeed been posted. They spoke to him, and he apologized. The way he acted, it was difficult not to be mean to him, but he was only doing his job.
But, that's ok, nothing is going to ruin this day for me. I had my chair massage final last night, and I aced it. The instructor said she would come get a massage from me when I finish Swedish massage, and can start my clinical work in the massage clinic. Instructors will almost exclusively trade off with other instructors! I was thrilled when she told me that.

This weather is insane- literally. Woke up to 16 degrees! 16!! Went outside to find all the ferals snuggled down either on the heat pad outside or in the hay barn is tunnels of loose hay. The gate to get in to the horses was frozen shut. Racer and Trav were both full of themselves and I fed then I went to the barn to see if the cats were still there, they hadn't budged so I went and fed them inside the barn.

Now I am working with Anne and we are planning all sorts of wonderful surprises for both websites and for all of you this year.

It is -12F this morning. BRRRRRR!!!!! I could feel the cold through my clothes and I'm dressed warmly today. I think tonight would be a good night to snuggle down with Max, my furbaby.

Woke up to zero degrees this morning and its gotten up to a balmy 12 at noon. Bad time to housebreak a puppy! YUK!!

It is now 9.54pm for us here. I have just watched the first episodes in the new series of Alias and CSI. Am about to go and have a bath and then to bed.

I got sign off on two projects today (YAY!). Tarka is lying next to me on the couch. She is not doing so well again (the cortisone treatment stopped yesterday morning), so I called the vet and it looks like she is going to go on a low dose treatment for a loooong time.

Andrew is sleeping on the couch and Luca has just brought me a nice Parktown Prawn as a present. Yuck!

Sorry, I would....but like I said in my post...I can't have anything I want since I am still on Phase 1. Alcohol isn't on this diet!

I am going to get fajitas, but not going to eat the tortillas! We go to the one in Champions (off of 249 and 1960).

70 degrees and sunny, here. For my breaks and lunch, I didn't even need to wear my jacket outside.

The cats are gearing up, for tomorrow's total full moon. Opie and Buddy are growling and glaring at each other. I'll be vacuuming up "cat parts", tomorrow evening. Opie usually manages to knock a few tufts off of Buddy.

While Bill was petting Opie, this afternoon, Rowdy strolled up and slapped Opie silly. I told Bill that the little witch was jealous and she won't slap him, so she slapped Opie instead.

At least, my customers haven't succumbed to "moon madness". The poor kid, next to me, got all of the crazy calls and she's only been on the job, a couple of weeks. She listens to what you tell her and gets it the first time, though.

Warm and sunny, for the rest of the week. Neener, neener, neener!

No CSI for me..... the new series isn't on for ages in the UK.

I doubt very much that it is the brand brand new CSI - we also take forever to get series here. But it is a new one for us!
