Hello everyone, and thanks for your input in advance.

My sweet, blind tabby cat has developed a dark patch on the bridge of his nose over the last several days.  I thought it was water from his eye, which gets irritated sometimes, but it's not.

It doesn't appear to be scabby, and he hasn't been scratching it.  He's not losing fur from that spot either.  It's just a dark patch, maybe 1/2 centimeter diameter, on the bridge of his nose where the fur is now darker and somewhat raised.  Maybe there's an injury or scab underneath?  Would that create a darker appearance of even the fur that covers it?

I don't think it's cancer, as that supposedly takes longer to develop, but I'm worried.

Boy, it's just hard to say.  What makes you think it ISN"T cancer?  Just curious.

We've had several cats here on TCS who've gotten patches of "something" on their noses, and I'm not sure if anyone has ever come back to say what they were, or if any of  them were the same thing.  it could be some sort of fungal thing too, I suppose.

If it doesn't go away soon, I'd probably take him in to have it checked out.  And I'd definitey take him in it it gets any larger.
