I don't know if I've mentioned this, but Rick got an iPad at the convention! Usually they get a ton of paperwork to read and have to vote on. Well, this time, they all got iPads and all the information is stored on the iPad. He was really happy and he's been playing around with it and having such a good time. I got a few emails and texts from him from the iPad and he's taken tons of pictures on it, so I know he's enjoying it. Something a little different for him (and me, too). And this means he doesn't have to take the laptop with him when he goes away; he can just take his iPad. Way cool. I'm interested to take a gander at it.
I know that some of the area colleges have given iPads out to their students instead of printed books. And their books are already downloaded onto the iPads. So all they have to do is go to the book store and pick up their iPads and they're done shopping....instead of having to deal with a ton of books and an enormous textbook bill.

That made the trip even more worthwhile! You'll have to download some games for the kitties. Mogli is addicted to tablet games, so I can't use my Acer in peace. :lol3:
