I woke up to find my cat limping ,at first she didn"t want to eat she only drunk water and milk , the second day she started eating , but the third day i noticed a Big soft redish lump on her back leg ( the one that has been limping) she doesn"t mind me touching it , i doubt that someone might have given her poison for i don"t know what reason can somebody help ? :c

The only thing I can suggest is to take your cat to the vet. Only a vet will be able to diagnose what is wrong with your cat and give the proper treatment.

I can tell you exactly what it is, it is an abcess from another cat biting her.

The lump is infection fluid, it will burst and drain all that fluid out.

The key is to watch that it stays open and draining until the fluid is all out, otherwise the infection becomes a problem.

Hoping she is spayed??! If not, expect this to happen to her again :(

It could be an infection or an injury and your cat needs to be seen by a vet.

Impossible to find a bite mark, they're never found.

Not true, I've dealt with countless abcesses on rescue cats, they all still have fur.

Trust in what I'm saying, it's an abcess and will break soon and drain, clearish bloody fluid.

Please get her spayed asap!
