Hello, I have a little tom kitten named Tzippy, and his mom was a siamese colored cat, with a manx tortoiseshell father.  Yes, Tzippy has a tail, you just can't see it in this pic.  What color is he?  I want to describe him in a couple other forums, etc.... but how?  Yep, for once I do not know the color of a cat :p  BTW, he's a sweetie!

The photo aint very good, but he is apparently a point of some sort, alike his mom.   so the dear daddy must have been a carrier of the point gene.

How old is Tzippy?  Is he a kitten for real?    If so, he as already darkened quite a much, esp being only flame, not seal nor even chocolade.

Are the eyes clearly blue, or just barely bluish?

Do you have pics of mom and dad?

Is his tail rather bushy?

It strikes me afterwards, he seems no typical shorthair, the fur seems sooner medium hair.    And the fur not so short, adds the colors and exact patterns are more difficult to see with a glance.

You can describe him as a 'Seal Tabby Point' ^^ Very pretty. And as Stefan said, he seems to be medium haired.

Tzippy is 4 months. his eyes are barely blueish, and his tail is quite bushy.  His fur is the softest I have ever felt.  Just wondering, it doesn't really matter, but is his color rare?  I am just wondering ;)

Well, I work with a breed that also has this type of coloring, so to me it's not rare (Your cat even kind of looks like the breed I work with, including fur and face haha). But I believe the point gene isn't that common in cats that aren't of a certain breed. So semi-rare? I love the point gene, so even if it's not rare, it's still very beautiful <3

What a beautiful kitty!  I love the lynx point colour.  And I love how soft and cuddly he looks.
