Hello, my cat Snowy is 10 years old and just suffered a major urinary blockage. He is now on Hill's C/D Prescription Wet Food (for life), which he is doing well on. He is missing his dry food, though, as he goes around searching for his sister's everywhere, and has not taken at all to the Hill's Dry Food. I understand that he should primarily be on a wet food diet, but I just wanted to offer some dry food once in a while as a snack. He used to be on Blue Buffalo, but I have read on this forum that BB may not be the right choice for a cat who has had bladder crystals. Would anyone be able to recommend a preferred dry food for a cat in his condition? I thank you in advance :)

I really wouldn't feel comfortable feeding a non prescription dry in these circumstances. Have you tried the Royal Canin Urinary dry? My fussy boy is crazy about it. Like you, I feed mostly wet but Shadow demands a little kibble every so often.

That is a great idea. I have not try that yet, but I certainly will. Thank you for the advice :)
