Salutations!
Happy Tuesday to all the fab TCS members!

Do you have any chores that you actually enjoy doing?

I tend to like doing laundry. I like the result it gives of super fresh, nice smelling clean clothing. And I find putting everything away relaxing.

Everything is done out of need. not desire.

I want a man or woman servant.

I don't really mind cleaning. It's like a necessary evil and I like to come home to a clean house. Wouldn't mind having a housekeeper, but would be worried that she or he would accidentally let the cats out. And then I'd have to kill her or him.

I actually like vacuuming as long as I'm not doing stairs or furniture. It's oddly satisfying to pick up all that litter and cat hair.

well said! heck, i 'count heads' every time i'm getting ready to go outside on my 'busy' days, because i'm in and out of the house so often those days.

of all the chores i do, i think i don't mind vacuuming the house. now, i don't particularly enjoy vacuuming but it doesn't require much thinking while doing it and i like a clean/tidy house. i think of chores as 'something to do, not to think about', because if i thought about doing them i might start finding excuses to delay them.

I don't think so.
I somewhat enjoy laundry day because Mooch gets a kitty high rolling in the pile of dirty towels!  She will occastionally jump on top of the laundry basket when I drag it out from the bedroom the the laundry room too.  She just cracks me up getting all excited over the towels.  Sometimes she ends up buried in them because she's there rolling as soon as they start hitting the floor.

That's Muffin....she does the same thing. She just loves dirty laundry and as soon as I get the basket out of the closet and start separating clothes, she hops right in the fray. When I have the pile in the basket, she jumps in, scurries around a bit, and settles in for a nap. (I usually get the laundry ready either the night before on a weekend or early on Wednesday morning for Wednesday night. Til I have the first load in the basket, Muffin is snuggled down inside all the clothing, completely invisible, except for a tail tip or maybe a paw.)

I don't mind cleaning at all. Doing the laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, mopping the floors are all fine by me.

There is something very satisfying about cleaning.

I don't really enjoy any, but I guess vacuuming would be my favorite

I like working in the yard & garden. I don't like housework but thankfully I have a wonderful BF who don't mind doing housework.

I HATE doing dishes so he does that and I will work on laundry.

I like vacuuming. And not only rugs (that I hardly have), but tile floors, the walls, chairs... Unfortunately, I don't have a vacuum at my place, but when I visit my parents, I use theirs (and help my mom with the chores).

I don't like ironing. I need an ironing board: I only have my dining table, and it's round. Ironing is a bit complicated...

Ingave a weekly cleaner. Without her. Nothing would get done.
When we were all in school and both my parents were working Mum used to get a weekly cleaner too. She was so paranoid that the cleaner would think our house was dirty that she would run around like a woman possessed on the morning the cleaner was coming, frantically tidying and hiding things in closets.

I can still remember her shouting at us every Thursday morning,

"Kids! Clean your rooms. Mrs O'Brian is coming!!!!"
