Okay, this may seem like a question with an obvious answer, but please think about it. My family and I have six cats, and we've been talking about buying the food in bulk. After all, buying food in bulk tends to be cheaper than buying it in smaller amounts. Seems easy with almost every grocery store carrying boxes of twenty-four cans of wet food (bulk dry food we can find at Wal-Mart), but the boxes just aren't big enough to last between paychecks with six cats. Each cat eats about a can of wet food a day (sometimes more), and payday is once every two weeks, so they're eating about eighty cans a week, sometimes more.

Does anyone know where we can go for this? I'm having zero luck with google, and I've contacted the company with the question, but haven't heard back yet. (I can't quite shake this mental image of people gathered around my e-mail laughing their rears off.)

Chewy.com is my favorite place to shop for my cats.   Many members here shop there too.  Good selection, great customer service.    I order from them monthly and with 2 cats only eating wet food it is cheaper and convenient.

There's also Wag.com and Petfooddirect

Or some cans actually come in 13oz sizes, like Friskies.  it's just a matter of finding those larger cans.   Walmart might even have them.  Petco and/or Petsmart might have them.  But with 6 cats, you definitely need either the 5.5 oz or larger sized cans in the cases, NOT the 3 oz sizes, right?  Obviously, the large the size, the more economical.

If you buy via the internet you will need to spend probably $49 to get free shipping.  If you can afford that, then that's probably the way to go....depending on what brand you want and whether or not they carry it.  Just shop around...you can usually get discounts if you put things on autoship too, just be aware that prices change, so when you get the email advising your shipment is about to be mailed, make sure it's still the best price available.
