Having grown up in Pennsylvania, I've been a big VF fan for decades. Some of you are probably familiar with them, while others might never have heard of them. This is the place for reasonably-priced jeans and casual clothes for men, women and children. Everything is at least half the price you would pay in a department store. Some of the goods are "seconds", while others are of impeccable quality. My nephew is going to the U.S. for the first time next summer, and I've already advised him to save up clothes destined for the rag bag (to fill his suitcases), because we're going to hit VF at least twice while we're there. Just to give you an idea: I went to the VF outlet in Nebraska City in August, and picked up four pairs of jeans and two pairs of cords, all priced between $6 - $8, plus tops, underwear, and a dress. My advice is to go with a couple of people, because some are going to find next to nothing, while others will strike it rich. If you're disappointed the first time, don't let that stop you from going back again later, because the next time you'll probably be able to buy the store out.
