i think hairballs

My cat Drew has been vomiting for the last few days and I see some hair in it.  She is not eating well cause when she like 20 mins later she is vomiting sometimes the food and other times clear liquid with some hair.  I have tried the paste but she is getting wish to me and shakes it off her paws.  Does anyone else have any suggesting before I go to the Vet. which will be an arm and a leg.  thank you Drews mom from Salem,  ma

Is she vomiting all or most of her food?  Is she drinking water and keeping the water down or is that coming back up as well?

"Regular" vomiting and trying to cough up a hairball can be quite different.

Search on youtube for videos with cats coughing up hairballs and see if it seems to be what your cat is doing.

My cats don't usually vomit their food when "working on" a hairball, they are just not that interested in food for a day or so...

I'd take her to a vet if she's been vomiting for a few days.
