I have two wonderful indoor cats that are fixed and microchipped that need a loving home and someone who won't separate them. They are rescues that came from a shelter and are a little more than three years old ( birthdays in April ).
The tiger stripped one is Travels, a male that weighs 12lbs. He has a personality that likes to sleep all day and snuggle on your chest when you lay down. He likes to have his chin scratched and head kissed non-stop, but doesn't really like his back scratched too much. He doesn't hiss or bite and may sometimes give a silly meow when he is annoyed or a playful swat. He is very quiet otherwise and rarely gets hyper; when he does he wants to play with a cat toy or his buddy Huntley.
The Torte cat is named Huntley, and is a female that weighs 8lbs. She is adorable! Every time i walk in the bathroom to shower or brush my teeth, she runs in after me so i can pet her whole body and massage her. She loves to play hide and seek. You can peek around a corner and she meows at you, then hide, and peek again and this game goes on and on. If you hide under a blanket, shell creep up and try and find you. Its rare, but sometimes she will walk on your chest and kiss your neck. It great when it happens but more rare than a shooting star.
I have to let them go in anticipation of hard times. I was married up until a few months ago and now I'm the only one living in the apt. I cannot afford to keep paying rent here, and the places that are within my budget don't take pets, or they require a higher rent if they do. I have tried everything I could think of and really don't want to do this. But they deserve a great home where they don't have to move so much. They are very easy to transport and adapt well to any environment. They love to sit in windows and go outside supervised for a few minutes a week.
Im hoping someone would see them and want two great, house broken and loving cats. They really are a rare pair and have been trained very well. They stop any behavior when you make a certain sound and come when you call them by name. They place fetch and love catnip and I even have a cat tower I can give with them, an gravity feeder, gravity water bowl, and a giant litter box with a solid scooper.
If you have any question please let me know, and before anyone judges me, i know how unfortunate it is to have a pet and not be able to keep them, they are not disposable, they are a part of me, but i don't want them to suffer or become homeless if I do. So I'm trying to plan in advance and if i find a place that allows them within my budget, then they will come with me.
