My friend, who is TNR-certified, does rescuing and homing of neighborhood cats. To date, I can't even count the number of cats she's homed. Recently, she rescued a littler of cats from someone's backyard. The mother was spayed and once she has recovered, she'll be released back. The kittens are approximately 2 months old, and they're al healthy and doing well except one. This particular kitten is tiny, and the day he was rescued, he was badly congested. My friend took him to the vet yesterday and found out that he has an oral fistula. It's in the gum, and im afraid the situation is deteriorating.
The kitten has swelling, inflammation, and bleeding. Because he's having trouble chewing, his desire to eat is disappearing. She's now syringe feeding him. The vet has recommended surgery, which is going to cost us nearly $1000. My friend and I do not have that kind of money.
I understand that it's not possible to save them all, but it would be wrong to give up without trying. I am contributing to his health cost as much as possible but it's not enough. To that end, we require your assistance. We've set up a 'Go-fund-me' page for this little fellow and are trying to raise money to foot the cost of his health bill. I will post vet bills as soon as possible. My friend is taking him to a vet at the Humane society of NY, and im currently talking to staff member at this hospital to see if they can reduce the cost of care.
If anyone is interested in helping, you can donate by following the link below. I've also attached a video of the kitten.
I started a thread yesterday afternoon on this site. Here's the link to it in case anyone wants to look at it.

Again, I understand your concerns, and everyone has the right to protect themselves against possible scamming. I will try my best to post the vet bills tomorrow.
Thank you so much!
