Well - after having our 15 year old cat looked at by the vet and having blood work and all the rest there was no conclusiveness on her having IBD but all signs pointed to a stomach IBD problem (not the intestinal one).
We decided to put her on GOOD wet food and add extra fiber to her diet through pills from the vet.
All things are looking better as she has gone from two exorcist type vomits a week to 1 every couple.
HOWEVER - now she has an ENORMOUS appitite. We're feeding this 7 pound cat 1 1/2 normal size cans a day and she's not gaining any weight.
It seems to me it's going in one end and out the next without anything "taking hold".
Opinions?
