Hello everyone,

This is my first ever post on the forum. I've adopted my cat from a shelter two year ago and up until recently everything has been going smooth. A week ago I notices a bold patch below his eye. I've assumed the worst and began to treat him with lamisil topical. Take a look, this is how he looks today. Any thoughts? P.S. This is the only spot I've located on his body and I've done the UV light on him to see if anything lights up--nothing!

Hmmm... ringworm doesn't always show up under a UV light AND I would think if it were ringworm, the lamisil would be possibly having some effect on it.  But then again, it doesn't always work, at least the topical form of lamisil.  (just what you wanted to hear, right)

I hate to say it, but the best thing to do is have him checked out by a Vet, where they can do a skin scraping and see exactly what it is, that way they can give you the exact right stuff to treat it with.
