This is great! Let's hope it gets better and better by Monday :).

It may be he's cleaning out his system.

Is he eating well?

Will you be able to weigh him soon?

His poop is getting darker I think but it would help if you guys could let me know. Would anyone be offended if I posted a picture of it?

I have no idea.  I don't think it looks that yellow.

I let @sarthur2 know you posted the picture but it's after 10pm in FL s she may be off-line.

Still very yellow.

I think you will need to see the vet, but it's very treatable, and much better on the powder.

You'll be surprised at the difference once he gets medicine! :)

I just noticed that my kitty has scabs on three of his paw pads. They cover his whole paw. Is this normal? How could this have happened?

You'll need to get that looked at as well when you go to the vet. My guess is they were burned by the hot road where he was found. Put neosporin on the scabs if you have any.

How are his poops today?

You are planning the vet tomorrow, right?

He isn't pooping very much at all. Yes I'm planning to take him to the vet tomorrow. So hopefully he will get better :)

Yes, he will get better. Explain about his runny, yellow poops and ask about coccidia.

Let us know how it goes.

Here's another quick question, when will his eyes open? He is a week old today and I looked it up and got soo many different answers ranging from 5 days to 14 days. His eyes still look sealed shut, I just want to know if he is on the right track or a little behind. Thanks

The usual time is 7-10 days, but it can take up to two weeks. I'm sure they will begin opening soon. They all open sooner or later! He's on the right track!

It's hard for me to see it well, but it's probably a burn. The vet can tell you.

I just weighed him and it looks like he weighs about 6oz.

Its a decent weigh for a kitten of 5-6 days.

But such "abouts"  are dangerous.  Its good enough for counting of a dosage.  But if you want to follow the daily dewelopment, you must know exactly, into 1/10 ths of an oz.

As he shall gain minimum 0,2 Oz a day if he was born tiny, preferably more

How often are you feeding him and how much at each feeding?

Let's see if he's getting the correct amount to grow on :).

I am actually keeping a food log of everything he consumes and his bathroom habits. It looks like yesterday he had almost 60ml of formula in 24 hours
