Hi everyone :wavey: ;)

Today's question is .............

How do you dry your hair after washing it ? Blow dry, towel dry or let it dry on its own ?

I blow dry mine :D

Most days I just let it dry on its own but if I'm going out then I will blow dry it about half way and let it dry the rest of the way so it don't frizz.

I let it dry half way, then blow dry. But there's no styling happening. I just toss my head upside down and direct the air everywhere until it's more or less "done".

In Summer, I let it dry on its own. Now that we're in Winter, I blow dry it, mostly because I shower at night and I don't want to go to bed with wet hair.

I usually air dry it. But I'm also trying this technique I heard about from an old TCSer called Plopping.  i don't know if it's aging or having had kids; but my hair has gotten wavier and more unruly.  I'm talking I look like an 80s rocker first thing in the morning!  So with some product and the plopping technique; it makes my hair dry more wavy/curly.  Otherwise it's mostly straight but with big waves.  Blow drying leaves it mostly straight; but it's thick and heavy and I just don't have patience in the morning.  If my hair is shoulder length or shorter I HAVE to blow dry because the waves go nuts and my hair just stands up/out.  It's ridiculous!

I shower at nights.. and let my hair dry overnight. in the morning I straighten it.

If I shower in the mornings, if it's too hot, I'll air dry it.

I towel dry a little (just to get rid of the worst of the drips) then either air dry (if I'm staying in) or blow dry (if I have to go straight out or want to go to bed). Like sivyaleah sivyaleah , drying is a film upside down job. I've never had the knack (or bothered to learn it) of styling with a dryer of any sort, and since the fibromyalgia hit I'd find anything more complicated impossible. I struggle (as in pain/fatigue) just tying my hair into a basic ponytail some days

Towel dry, put my hair up in a bun, and then let air dry.

Towel dry, put in nice product, then Air Dry. I don't have the patience to blow dry on a daily basis! I feel like it is a lot of work (If I want to straighten my hair on the odd occasion, I just use a flat hair iron) Plus, I have curly/wavy blonde baby fine hair - I would worry it would dry up too easily
even if with the best precautions and methods/settings. At the same time, it could make my hair more puffy instead of smooth and sleek, as I have yet to actually master the method. Cuz' I am a dodohead that way!

That would be me. If I wash at night (sometimes I do), I'll let it dry on its own. But when I wash in the morning, I have to blow it dry, with plenty of Garnier Blow Dry Protector with argon oil.

I wash mine every morning when I shower. I can't stand the feeling of even a little oil/dirt on my hair. Yes, I'm weird!
I put gel in it, then finger style it with the blow-dryer.  On the weekends, if I'm not going out in the morning, I will air-dry it, as I'm worried that blow-drying will damage it. It takes forever to air dry, though. I have fine hair, but lots of it, as a hairdresser once told me.

My hair is naturally curly/ wavey, so I blow dry it using a big dish diffuser. Otherwise, its some sort of wavey prices, a few curly, & some just confused ,& frizzy, LOL!! The dish diffuser has the " fingers" in it, so I get better curls. I also sometimes blow it out straight w/ a paddle & or round brush, then flat iron it. When I do that it's nice because I can get a few days out of it. ;)
During the week, I just let it dry by itself, because cleaning houses, I always have it in a bun, out of the way.
