missing kittens

Hi,

My cat had four kittens this week. I woke up this morning and they were gone. My cat seems to be looking for them . She keeps going back to where they were left.

We have a male cat, and he is about 3 -4 months old, not fixed. Could he have taken them? There is no blood anywhere, he doesn't go outside, I'm so confused.

Please help!

OK, I found them, my God they were behind a drawer inside one of my kid's dressers. I'd we closed it they would all have gotten smooshed!

If they're that young, your cat must have put them there. that you found them. We have a litter of 5 at the shelter, and some of them simply vanish into thin air. Guess where they like to hide? Behind a drawer in a cabinet in their room. :nod:

Can you put them inside a closet in your bedroom with the door cracked? It's safer than a drawer.

Then put her food, water, and litter in the room nearby.

She moved them to where she felt they were more hidden - it worked!

And you need to get your male cat neutered asap before he begins to show aggression. He's at a good age now to be neutered. Humane Societies usually offer low-cost neutering. I'd give them a call.
